Cotton Production
Standley/Stella produced this garment, and our partner in Germany will print it with the graphic of your choice.
The cotton from Stanley/Stella is 100% organic and from selected Indian farmers. The cotton seeds have not been genetically modified, and the production process does not require chemical pesticides or fertilisers. They support biodiversity, which allows the farmers to supplement their provisions and incomes.
Further processing into yarn and the final clothing is taking place in Bangladesh. Employment in the textile industry lifts people out of poverty. Stanley/Stella monitors compliance with fair conditions and safety regulations strictly. Furthermore, they are committed to optimising the wages even more. Stanley/Stella's partner factories have modern water treatment facilities with internal experts and testing devices.
The final clothing makes its way by ship or occasionally via plane to a GOT certified interim storage in Belgium. This storage uses renewable energy from a local wind power plant.
For the next step of this garment, we partnered up with a printing company in Germany. They use water-based and, therefore, non-toxic colours. All of their DTG-ink is OEKO-Tex certified. Digital printing uses way less water for the whole production process than other conventional printing methods. Their CO2-neutral electricity originates from sustainably produced energy. The delivery is plastic-free and, whenever possible, CO2-neutral, using services like DHL GoGreen. Our partner holds their CO2 emissions as low as possible. They compensate for the remaining footprint with MyClimate, specifically with a reforestation project using indigenous trees in Nicaragua.
We print your shirt after we get your order, this prevents us from having a stock excess, but it also means that it takes a few days to reach your home.
